This team, led by Maj. Byron Martin of the Washington, D.C. Corps, worked with Nazarene Compassion Ministries to help rebuild homes –helping to get hurricane victims back into their homes.

Return to Bayou La Batre, Alabama
Led by Maj. Byron Martin from the D.C. Corps, returned to work again with the Nazarene Compassion Ministries to help the rebuilding process, successfully getting two families back into their homes.

Led by Maj. Byron Martin from the D.C. Corps and working through Rev. Danny Moore and Higher Ground Ministries, this team took on several projects to help re-build a town devastated by several hurricanes that did back to back damage they are still trying to recuperate from.

Disaster Response Goes National
At a National Council Meeting held in Baltimore, MD by the American Rescue Workers, Gen. Claude Astin declares that the disaster relief efforts will become an arm of the national organization and Maj. Byron Martin was named the Director of the National Disaster Response unit.
